progress happens when we go deep
Clare Nash
Clare Nash is an architect, author, garden designer and mentor. She has written two books on sustainable housing and work/life balance for architects.
As an introvert she prefers to do things the quiet way. But this doesn’t stop her speaking on stages and attempting brave things!
After setting out on her own in 2011 with no clients, Clare now runs a successful eco-architecture practice, Clare Nash Architecture, which employs 6 people. She prides herself on making sustainable profit without working around the clock. Meanwhile, working with wonderful clients on projects that light up the team. Meanwhile working only a 30-hour week and having a little son. It is possible to feel rewarded, enjoy your work and live well too!
CNA is a remote and flexible working practice with a lovely, majority female team all working from home and meeting up once a week in real life. All of this was well before lockdowns and unheard of in the UK architecture world.
You can have a listen to Clare here on radio and podcasts.
